Welcome to the See & Do Oklahoma newsletter. I'm A&E Writer Brandy McDonnell, bringing you weekly updates on entertaining people, places, events and attractions across the state. Over the past week, I've been thinking a lot about Oklahoma's outsized impact on popular culture. With my job, that's a topic that comes up quite a bit, but prime examples have popped up frequently over the past several days. For instance, I spent last Friday night — St. Patrick's Day — as part of the sold-out crowd at Oklahoma City's Paycom Center, where Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton was playing the home-state gig on his "Back to the Honky Tonk Tour.
